Ar. Ku has completed hundreds of projects built across the globe — including many delivered through our own company — with extensive expertise in construction site management and construction drawing developed over three decades of work across Japan, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

He graduated from the architecture department of a Japanese university in 1996 and joined a major Japanese general construction company, spending approximately four years at its Nagoya Branch as a Site Supervisor, where he gained hands-on experience on around ten construction projects, including several he managed independently on site. In 1998, he obtained the First-Class Construction Management Engineer qualification, and the following year joined the construction project for the National Center for Child Health and Development in Setagaya, Tokyo — a joint venture with Taisei Corporation — where he was responsible for construction administration and construction drawings. That same year, he obtained his First-Class Architect license.

After leaving the company in 2000, he continued to build his expertise as a construction drawing specialist on major Tokyo projects, including the Prudential Tower in Akasaka and the Eiraku Building office tower in Marunouchi. In 2002, he established Total Space Creation Co., Ltd., a company specializing in construction drawings, and went on to serve as Construction Drawing Manager on major developments such as the Kinshicho Taihei 3-chome shopping mall project and the Tokyo Shiodome Building.

In 2006, Total Space Creation became a registered business partner of Taisei Corporation, and he took on the role of Construction Drawing Manager for the GATEWAY project in Dubai — first spending several months in the Philippines to establish the project’s initial construction drawing operations, before relocating to Dubai in 2007. Following the closure of the project during the Dubai financial crisis, he established Takumi Space Creation Inc. in 2009 and has served as CEO ever since.

He works with both new clients and long-standing partners, building relationships through consistent work and commitment. He manages his teams with the same dedication, mentoring them to continuously enhance their technical, communication, and management skills.

Today, he leads his team toward the advancement of architectural and structural drawings. His vision — to seamlessly connect 2D and 3D-BIM work and fully leverage the role of BIM across design, construction drawings, construction planning, and quantity estimation — continues to evolve, and has already become a competitive strength in projects around the globe.
